① それに

それに(sore ni) is used when you add another similar fact or situation

どうして さくら大学を 選んだんですか。

Doushite Sakura daigaku wo eranda n desu ka?

Why did you choose Sakura University.

・・・さくら大学は、父が出た大学だし、いい先生も多いし、

それに家から近いですから。

Sakura daigaku wa, chichi ga deta daigaku da shi, ii sensei mo ooi shi, 

sore ni ie kara chikai desu kara.

Because it's my father's alma mater, there are many good teachers, and besides, it's near my house.

② それで

それで(sore de) is a conjunction used to show that what was said before it is the reason or cause for the sentence following it

このレストランは 値段も 安いし、 おいしいんです。

Kono resutotan wa nedan mo yasui shi, oishii n desu.

The food is cheap & tasty in this restaurant.

・・・それで　人が　多いんですね。

Sore de hito ga ooi ndesu ne.

And that's why it's crowded. (many people)
